1. How do I find green businesses on the website?
We provide several features to help you find businesses going green including a basic search, directory search, phone search, and a map search. The map search helps you visualize where the businesses are in relation to your location.
2. How do I add my green business to the website?
You will need to submit our add a business form. Make sure you select the best green business plan for your business. In addition, all businesses must adhere to our business guidelines when submitting.
3. I am the owner of several green businesses. Is it possible for me to manage all of my green businesses from one account?
Yes, you can manage many businesses from one account. To edit or delete an existing business, click business management in the members section of the website. To add another business under your account, make sure you are logged into your existing account, and then submit our add a business form.
4. I am a green business owner and my business has multiple locations. Does your website have the flexibility to manage multiple business locations?
Yes, you can manage multiple locations for each business you have. In the members section under business management, select the business you want to add multiple locations for and click manage locations. From there, you can add, edit, or delete business locations.
5. How are the star ratings for the green businesses calculated fairly?
In order to give a star rating, a user must register as a member on the website. Each member is only allowed to vote for a business once - multiple votes do not count. The star rating is the average rating members have given the businesses.
6. I received a bad business review. I do not want people to see bad reviews about my business. How do I delete the review?
All business reviews are monitored by the administrative staff. We believe that all people have the right to speak their mind and give their unbiased opinions about businesses. For these reasons, bad reviews will not be deleted from the website unless they are found to be biased opinions. If you feel that your review may be biased, please contact us and we will review the case.
7. How do I find green events on the website?
We provide several features to help you find green business events including a basic search, directory search, and a map search. The map search allows you to get a visual idea of where the events are in relation to your location.
8. How do I add, edit, or delete my green event to or from the website?
Only green businesses can add events to the website. In the members section under business management, select the business the event needs to be added to and then click manage events. From here, you can add, edit, and delete green business events. If you would like to add an event without registering a business, please contact us and we will add an event listing for $100 dollars.
9. My green event occurs in multiple locations. Does your website have the flexibility to manage multiple event locations?
Yes, you can manage multiple locations for each event you create. In the members section under business management, select the business the event corresponds to and then click manage events. Find the event you want to add multiple locations for and click manage locations. From there, you can add, edit, or delete business event locations.
10. I have a reoccuring event or an event that occurs on multiple dates. Does your website allow me to easily add multiple event dates?
Yes, the website allows users to easily add multiple dates for events. In the members section under business management, select the business the event corresponds to and then click manage events. Find the event you want to add multiple dates for and click manage locations. Find the location the event will take place at and then click manage dates. From here, you can add, edit, or delete event dates. Repeat this process for other locations as needed.
